Dev Day Yuma has acquired three new sponsors for its February 25, 2017 coding event. Helios Education Foundation, Trax International and Yuma County Chamber of Commerce have all signed on to be Dev Day Yuma 2017 sponsors. “Acquiring these sponsors ensures that the 2017 Dev Day Yuma event will happen,” said Tom Tyree, Yuma County Superintendent and chair of the Dev Day Yuma leadership team. “We’re grateful to all of them.” Funds from the new sponsors will be used to provide free lunches to participating students and Dev Day Yuma mentors, as well as mentor training and prizes for every participating student.
